Allyn Carlos-Barr

Mr. Allyn Doron Carlos-Barr, age 27, passed away at Candler Hospital on Tuesday, October 5, 2021. He was born in Fayetteville, NC to Bernard Everett and Ana Marie Carlos Barr on August 27, 1994. Before his illness, he was employed as a warehouse associate with Home Depot Distribution and he was a member of the First Baptist Church in Spring Lake, NC. Mr. Carlos-Barr enjoyed playing video games, music, Pokémon Hunting with his girlfriend; but most of all, he was a loving and caring father for his two children.

Survivors include his parents, Bernard Everett and Ana Marie Carlos Barr of Ellabell; two children, Eliana Meleah Carlos-Barr and Miro Elijah Carlos-Barr both of Ellabell; companion and mother of his children, Ammearah Vannoy of Ellabell; five brothers, Vavonte Hampton of California, Randy Futrell of North Carolina, Troy Whaley, Jr. of Ellabell, Tony Whaley and his wife Jana of Pt. Wentworth and Torin Barr of North Carolina; four sisters, Marie Kathrine Carlos of North Carolina, Imami Hampton of Washington State, Alexandria Carlos of Ellabell and Shakia Carlos of North Carolina; grandparents, Lynwood Barr and Allie Barr both of California; two aunts, Faye Moore and her husband David of California and Vikki Lawson and her husband Reggie; ten nieces and nephews, Gabby, Niki, Kiara, A’Mya, Jordan, Tony Lee, Nathan, Neiko, Monne’ and Major and numerous cousins.

Visitation will be held on Monday, October 11, 2021 from 4:30 – 6:30 p.m. at Flanders Powell Funeral Home.

Celebration of Life Service will follow at 6:30 p.m. in the Flanders Powell Funeral Home Chapel.

Burial will be private.
