Mrs. Alice Humphries Warren, 85, passed away on January 30, 2018 at East Georgia Regional Medical Center. Mrs. Warren was born on October 2, 1932 in Savannah to Alfred Humphries and Thelma Daring Humphries. She retired as a purchaser for Food Town Groceries of Savannah and caregiver at Smiley’s Day Care, was a member of Ellabell Methodist Church and she enjoyed watching soap operas and working in the yard.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Wallace Coleman “W.C.” Warren, Sr., son, Wallace Coleman “Bud” Warren, Jr. and her parents, Alfred and Thelma Daring Humphries.
Survivors include one daughter, Deborah McKie of Pembroke; two sons, Mark Warren and Bruce Warren and his wife Kimberly all of Pembroke; two brothers, Freddie L. Humphries and his wife Shirley of Savannah and Earl Humphries and his wife Anne of Demorest, GA; sister, Betty Fort of Savannah; numerous grandchildren including Opal Warren and great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 3, 2018 at Flanders Morrison Funeral Home from 10:00 – 12:00 p.m.
Funeral service will follow in the Flanders Morrison Funeral Home Chapel with Rod Lee officiating.
Burial will follow at Ellabell Methodist Church Cemetery.
