Pt. Wentworth- Mr. Adam R. Celeste, age 44, passed away on Friday, Feb. 6, 2015 at his home after an extended illness. Adam was a long-time resident of Pt. Wentworth and worked with Shuman Construction and later served as a superintendent of road construction with Bryco, Inc. Adam loved music, enjoyed metal detecting, boating and fishing with his friends. He was a bass player for many bands, a member of the Christian Faith and was recently preceded in death by his stepfather, Kenneth Todd.
Survivors include his daughters, Maggie Mae and Ava Sophia Celeste of Port Wentworth and the children's mother, Lorri Moore ; mother, Sue Todd of Port Wentworth; father Charles Celeste and Glennis Jackson of Stilson; brother and sister-in-law, Joey and Lisa Celeste of Bulloch Co. and a sister Tina Celeste of Chicago; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Visitation will be held 6-9 P.M. Monday, Feb. 9 at the funeral home. Funeral service will be 2 P.M. Tuesday, Feb. 10 in the chapel of Flanders Morrison Funeral Home with Rev. Alan McCoy officiating. Interment will follow in Northside Cemetery. Flandersmorrisonfuneralhome.com
